LORI P. DAVES  is an experienced trial lawyer representing individuals and business owners throughout Texas and Louisiana. She is a native of Lake Jackson, Texas. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin and received her Juris Doctorate, cum laude from Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana. She served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Loyola Law Review, published a case note, and worked full-time throughout law school as a law clerk for Bell South Telecommunications, Inc.

Upon graduation, Lori was appointed Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Peter Beer, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, a position she held for nine years. Clerking for Judge Beer provided Lori with the opportunity to hone her writing skills and develop insight into the decision-making processes of a federal judge.

Lori has tried many cases to a verdict over the years. 

She believes communication with her clients is the most important aspect of the practice of law and makes it a priority every day.

Lori is licensed to practice in Texas and Louisiana.  She a member of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel; Travis County Women's Lawyers Association, and Austin Ridge Bible Church Christian Business Women.



The firm primarily focuses on real estate transaction issues, landlord tenant issues, including lease disputes and evictions, as well as business entity formation and homeowner association representation.

Mr. Daves is a graduate of LSU and Tulane Law School.  He is a Texas Real Estate Commission instructor for continuing education courses in the areas of property managment, asset protection, eviction and fair housing.  He has also provided training seminars for the Austin Apartment Association on the subject of landlord evictions and has served as an instructor for the Austin Apartment Association for the CAPS training program related to fair housing matters.
